Democratic Services Manager

 

As Democratic Services Manager you will have substantial experience of committee administration, within local government or other public body, and have a detailed knowledge of local government functions, structures and procedures.

You will be responsible for managing and delivering the servicing of, Cabinet, Committees, Sub-Committees and all other Member level bodies and key officer groups supporting decision-making. You will give authoritative advice and guidance to Members and other as necessary, ensuring all meetings conform to legal requirements and in accordance with the Constitution, corporate standards and relevant procedures and processes.

You will assist in the maintenance and review of the Council’s constitutional documents such as the Procedural Standing Orders and Scheme of Delegations.
