Hours: 37 hours Monday-Friday 8.45am-5pm

Salary: Grade 7, £24,294 - £25,979

Based: 3 Knowsley Place / Agile worker

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer. This role provides administrative support to the front-line teams including the Initial Response Team, Complex Safeguarding Team and Children with Disabilities Team based at 3, Knowsley Place, Bury. You will be dealing with a range of tasks including dealing with phone and Email reports and enquiries from families and professionals including The Police, Health and Education. You will be required to process invoices and deal with petty cash.

 

We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and professional individual who is able to provide a high level of administrative support. You will be working in a rewarding and fast paced environment.  You will enjoy working to tight deadlines and a high degree of accuracy is essential.

 

-      You will have exceptional organisational skills in order to work under pressure to complete tasks to potentially conflicting deadlines, without direct line management, re-prioritising your own work as appropriate or allocating tasks to others.

 

-      You will be capable of resolving problems, using your own initiative to provide practical solutions.

 

-      You will be experienced in using computer packages and be confident in quickly being able to use bespoke software used within different services.

 

-      Excellent communications skills will be required, together with high levels of customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users.

 

-      The ability to produce detailed minutes/notes at pace, with a good attention to detail will be required.
