Post Title: Adult Learning Tutors – Family Learning
Team: Adult Learning Service
Bury Adult Learning Service is one of the key providers of adult and community learning in the borough of Bury. We were rated as Good by Ofsted in November 2021, who noted that we “put the learner and the community at the heart of everything (we) do.”
We are now looking for innovative and inspirational part-time tutors to join our Family Learning team.
You’ll need
· Previous experience of teaching in a Primary and/or Adult Learning setting (preferably both) at a range of levels
· A recognised teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 3
· Good organisational skills to ensure effective planning, preparation and delivery of excellent teaching, and to maintain accurate learner records.
· The flexibility to work a range of working patterns
This post would suit applicants looking to work on a part-time. Hours of work are flexible and can be negotiated at interview stage. The hours for this position will be reviewed annually in line with service requirements.
The full time salary is grade 10 - £33,024 to £35,745 per annum.
