Grade 4 - £11.79 per hour 

 

Our caretaking and cleaning team are currently recruiting for Casual Caretakers within the Bury area.

 

We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate their experience in maintaining and cleaning a large site, with knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding requirements. The successful candidate will have the appropriate skills and experience to undertake minor repairs, maintain the fabric of the building to a good standard and ensure the security and safety of the site.

 

The role includes the responsibility of being a key holder, ensuring the environment is secure and sharing responsibility for the opening and closing of the premises. It will also require the attendance out of hours when necessary in the event of an alarm call.

 

Candidates must have the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a team. You will be required to work throughout the borough for short and long-term placements, this could be 37 hours per week between the hours of 6:30 - 10am and 2 - 6 pm, Monday to Friday, All year round.

 

Relevant experience is an advantage although not essential as training will be provided.
