Hours: 37 per week

Grade: SM1, £57,624 to £59,666 per annum

Fixed Term for 12 months due to funding

Please note the salary for this role is normally £53,624 to £55,666 but it is being paid with a market supplement.

 

As Programme Manager – Housing, you will be required to oversee the integration of housing operations and insource of council housing stock back within the Council.  This will include projects around aligning governance and policies and supporting the anticipated new external housing regulation and inspection. The Programme Manager is also responsible for the ongoing promotion of robust Project Management techniques and processes across the organisation in line with the principles led by the Corporate Delivery Unit.  You will have extensive experience in project managing and delivering a wide range of complex projects and programmes of work.

 

You will report into the Head of Performance and Delivery working alongside other Programme Managers working on key transformational programmes.  You will have line management responsibility for project manager(s) supporting your programme where relevant.

 

This agile role is based within the Bury Town Centre Campus.

 

We are particularly looking for experience of managing complex programmes within a local authority landscape, excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, ability to work through detail and proficiency in clear and concise progress reporting including milestone delivery, key performance indicators and risk management.

 

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week.
