Team: Bury Employment Support and Training (Bury EST)

 

A permanent full time opportunity (37 hrs) has arisen for a highly motivated individual into the role of Placement Officer at Bury Employment Support and Training (Bury EST) . This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of partners and stakeholders in generating income for the Bury EST service and developing income ideas to enable the service to continue to operate as a Trading Account.

 

Ideally the candidate will be able to provide practical support to the Bury EST Team Leader, Employment Officer and Operational staff, developing commercial opportunities for the service and develop and implement income generation ideas. The Candidate must demonstrate effective organisational and project management skills and be able to assist in the day to day operation of the service.

 

On a personal level, our ideal candidate will be confident and assertive individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. They will possess or evidence of significant experience in working with disabled and disadvantaged customers and the ability to manage programmes effectively and achieve key outcomes within agreed deadlines are also key to this position.
