 The Trustees of Vision Multi Academy Trust on behalf of Vision House Resourced Provision wish to appoint an enthusiastic, cheerful and highly motivated Support Assistant to join a team of specialists to provide learning and nurture support for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs across the primary phase. You will play a key part in the exciting future of our growing Multi Academy Trust.

Working with primary age pupils displaying SEMH difficulties - Hours of work are 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, worked in accordance with service requirements. The salary for this post is grade 9 £18,757 per annum.

We are looking to appoint a member of staff to work within the Resourced Provision and welcome applications from a wide range of experience across: Education, Social Care, Health, Youth Offending Team and Charity Sector.

·Understand how to adapt and respond creatively to remove barriers to learning in order to promote  
  whole child development for pupils with SEMH needs

·Has knowledge and experience of delivering effective SEMH/SEND interventions

·An understanding of how SEND and the primary needs of SEMH and/or communication and 
  interaction impacts upon learning and development and behaviours

·Able to support children through an in-reach and outreach model to promote positive behaviour for 
 learning and raise self-esteem
