Learning Disability Team –Windsor House, Bury
This is an opportunity for a Social Worker with relevant experience, skills and knowledge of complex casework or an ASYE who in the process of attaining level 2 status and has completed a student placement.
We are looking to appoint someone interested in joining the LD team.
The hours of work are 37 per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.
The salary for this post is £31,371 to £32,878 per annum.
This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be expected to manage a range of some complex cases, in particular involving Court of Protection work, MCA/DoLS, safeguarding in relation to Learning Disabilities. As such the applicant will need to demonstrate via application and interview an excellent working knowledge of the Care Act including Mental Capacity/DoLS.
You will be required to have a range of knowledge, skills and experience and be expected stay up to date knowledge of relevant local and national legislation relating to Social Care.
This is an opportunity to join a Specialist team working with adults with Learning Disability using a clear focus on person centred support to customers who have longer term needs aimed towards the customer having greater independence, choice and control.

Due to the nature of the service the successful candidate may be required to work any five days out of seven including weekends to meet service needs
