The Governors of this popular, successful and over–subscribed 11-16 High School are seeking to appoint a committed, motivated and well organised Attendance Officer to manage non- attendance of pupils and to maintain, monitor and analyse electronic records of attendance. The postholder will have regular contact with external agencies and be involved in the development and promotion of existing attendance procedures, including making home visits.

 

Hours of work are 37 per week (8.00 am to 4.00 pm) - plus 6 days during school closure

Salary: £17,559.64 - £19,006.93 pro rata 


There is a career progression opportunity within this role subject to a revision of the job description and re-evaluation which will be discussed at interview.

 

 

You must have experience of working with young people 11-16 years of age, good literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge of current legislation pertinent to the post.
