Paid at Grade 9 (SCP 18 – 23, £24,313 to £26,999 per annum pro rata)
Actual salary £22,181 to £24,631 per annum

 

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated HR Manager to be a lead HR professional in the schools across the trust, in supporting and delivering high quality services that underpin the teaching and learning across the schools, enabling them to grow. The successful candidate will lead, co-ordinate and quality assure the work of the HR school-based staff and carry out appropriate checks and first authorisation of monthly payroll. The ability to engender trust and confidence and demonstrate integrity in the provision of advice on complex issues is essential. We are looking for a colleague who will assist in the successful recruitment of vacancies and ensure safer recruitment practices are followed.

The position is 37 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8.00am -4.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm) term time plus 15 additional days to be worked during periods of school closure, in accordance with service requirements.

 

Applicants must have the CIPD Qualification Level 5 (or equivalent) and proven experience of delivering solution focused advice and guidance based on sound judgement and an understanding of the practical applications of employment law. Working within a team is imperative to this role and in return the successful candidate will be a valued member of an excellent team.
