An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, committed practitioner; the Governors and Head teacher of Ribble Drive Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Deputy Head teacher who has the vision, skills, abilities and focus to further raise standards, achievement and aspirations for all pupils at Ribble Drive Primary School. You will need to demonstrate that you have High Expectations, a No Excuses Approach and a proven record of school improvement. This is the perfect opportunity for outstanding leaders who wish to be part of a dedicated and committed leadership team. Expertise and interest in leading curriculum development, core subjects, and assessment would be advantageous. Applicants should be prepared to take part in extra-curricular activities.

 

The salary for this post is Teachers Pay Range SCP 9-13, £47,967 to £52,930 per annum.

Informal School Visits: School visits prior to application are positively encouraged on one of two dates: 25th April at 9.30am or 26th April at 4.30pm.

 

Teaching Observation: Visits will be made to all shortlisted candidates’ schools by representatives of Ribble Drive Primary School during the weeks beginning 7th of May and 14th May 2018.

 

Progression to interview will only be for those candidates who demonstrate outstanding learning and teaching.

 

Interviews: Assessment (including presentations and tasks) and formal interviews will be conducted on Thursday May 24th 2018. The interviewing panel will consist of the Head teacher, Governors and a local authority representative.
