Wellbeing Assistants

 

We are currently recruiting a Wellbeing Assistant to work across our Extra Care schemes, so whether you are looking to start your career in care or looking for a new challenge, as long as you have a passion to care and always put the customer at the heart of everything you, then we want to hear from you.

 

Various hours ranging from 20 - 37 per week, including days, evenings, waking nights and weekends.

 

£19,312 per annum rising to £19,698 (pro rata) per annum after successful completion of training and probation period.

 

There is no such thing as a typical day within extra care so we are looking for people with the right attitude and values who will fit in to our team, purpose and enhance it even more.  As well as being a truly caring person, you will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, prepared to try different ways working and have great listening and communication skills.

This role involves supporting tenants with their day to day living including personal care needs recognising that they live in their own homes.  You will brighten people’s day and you will encourage tenants to live independent, fulfilling lives, developing friendships and social networks.  You will be an enthusiastic, flexible person with a ‘can do’ attitude and caring nature and want to see people be the best that they can.

 

The hours of work are:

 

WK1 – Thurs - 8am - 2pm

WK2 – Wed - 4pm - 10pm, Sat - 3pm - 10pm, Sun - 3pm - 10pm

 

You will also cover additional shifts as and when required, to meet the needs of the service
