Premises Assistant

 
Two Casual Premises Assistants are required to join the Admin Buildings Service within the Resources and Regulation Department based at Bury Town Hall.  Working as part of a team you will provide a service within the Administrative Buildings at various locations in Bury and Radcliffe in respect of maintenance, cleaning and security by working various shift rotations.

 
General Handyperson skills are essential and the role can involve heavy lifting and working at heights. You must have the ability to work well within a team environment and also on your own initiative.

 

Hours of work are up to 37 per week between the hours of 6am – 10pm on various shift rotations as and when required. Occasional weekend work may also be required.

 
The pay for this post is £8.90 per hour plus holiday allowance.

 

Permanent vacancies may be coming up in the near future and experience working in the post on a casual basis will provide good experience to prospective applicants.
