Teaching Assistants Level 1 & Level 1 ASD – Grade 6 (£14,716 pro rata)

Teaching Assistants Level 2 & Level 2 ASD – Grade 8 (£16,573 – £18,298 pro rata)

Teaching Assistants Level 3 & Level 3 ASD – Grade 9 (£18,664 - £20,726 pro rata)

 

Elms Bank is a secondary special school for pupils aged 11 to 19 years with a diverse range of learning disabilities including physical disabilities and autism.

 

Vacancies have arisen to support pupils with an Educational Health and Care Plan or Statement of Special Needs either on a 1:1 basis or as part of a class.  Successful candidates will be required to work within a key stage or department across the school.

 

The posts are 32.5 hours per week (Monday 8.45am – 4.45pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.45am – 3.30pm) term time plus 5 professional activity days worked during periods of school closure, in accordance with service requirements.

 

The roles are both physically and emotionally demanding and involves working with some pupils with challenging behaviour.

 

Applicants must have relevant qualifications and experience and be willing to undertake training relevant to the post.  Please ensure that you meet the person specification before applying.
