The Governors of this successful and friendly school are looking to appoint, an enthusiastic and efficient Facilities Manager to take responsibility for the management of premises, resources and relevant support staff.

 

You will have experience of managing premises, people and preferably projects, as well as have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of taking initiative and building key internal and external relationships.

 

The hours of work are 37 per week, all year round, in accordance with service requirements.

 

The salary for this post is Grade 10/11 £27,358 - £32,233 dependent on experience.

 

You will work both strategically and operationally to ensure the efficient running of the school by:

 

  • Coordinating the school’s Premises strategy
  • Taking responsibility for the management of Health and Safety across the school
  • Managing the work of relevant Support Staff
  • Ensuring that the school derives maximum benefit from its budget in the areas above
  • Ensuring that relevant financial information and data associated with the post is provided which enables the school to plan
  • To actively model and promote the values and ethos of the school.
