The children, staff and Governors of Peel Brow School, Ramsbottom wish to appoint an inspirational and aspirational Head Teacher who will build on the school’s current position of strength and continue the development as a fantastic place to teach and learn.

 

The salary for this post is Leadership Scale L12 –L18, £52,414 - £60,755 per annum.

 

Peel Brow is a small, nurturing school where children are happy and thrive. The teachers work hard to ensure fantastic outcomes for all pupils. The governing body are friendly and supportive while maintaining the required challenge needed to keep the school improving. The latest OFSTED visit rated us as Good, while noting (amongst many other positive points) that ‘Pupils become mature, polite individuals who behave well and show respect for others’. The school currently ranks second in terms of progress for KS2 in the borough.

 

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will:

  • be able to clearly articulate and communicate the school’s vision of the future to pupils, parents, staff and governors
  • have a clear vision for the continual development of the staff and pupils
  • have a clear vision for the development of each child to their full potential
