Pay Scale: Grade 9, £21,248 to £23,596 per annum.

 

37 hours term-time plus 5 days.

 

St John’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer to work in partnership with children, families and partners where there is a significant risk of poor outcomes to ensure that they benefit most from Education Services. The postholder will lead of safeguarding and family engagement in school under the supervision of the Designated Safeguarding Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with the right skills and experience to make a real difference in our school community.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have high expectations of all pupils and be committed to developing their full potential
  • Have a relevant qualification in supporting children and young people
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to establish effective working relationships with staff and pupils
  • Have excellent knowledge of current legislation and procedures in supporting children and young people
  • Be committed to their own professional development
  • Have a passion for making a difference to the lives and educational outcomes of children and young people
