We now have an exciting opportunity for a positive, proactive and self-motivated individual to be responsible for the Library Resource Centre, working with the Literacy Team and promoting a key role in promoting Literacy across the curriculum.

 

The post hours are 37 hours per week (Mon - Thurs 8am to 4pm and Fri 8am to 3:30pm) term-time only plus 5 days during school closure.  The postholder will also be required to work outside of the normal working hours to attend Open Evenings/Parents Evenings.

 

The salary for this post is Grade 7, £17,559 to £19,006 per annum.

 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate vision, initiative and passion for this area in taking responsibility for the development and improvement of the School Library.

 

You should be able to prioritise tasks and work closely with senior leaders across the school. You must have a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills, and be willing to undergo training as and when required.
