Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEN Support Team)

Grade 6 (£13,286 actual salary)

Temporary position until 31st August 2020

 

Required for 1st September 2019

 

This post is 30 hours per week, term time only. Monday to Friday 9:00-12:45 then 1:15-3:30

 

For this academic year this post will involve working with a range of pupils across both KS1 and KS2 as part of a team. There will be opportunities to work alongside other members of the SEN support team. All Teaching Assistant’s receive an annual appraisal objective to develop their practice further.

 

The trustees are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from September 2019 to work as part of the school’s SEN support team.  The post will involve supporting a number of pupils who have an Education Health and Care Plan or receive SEN support funding on a one to one basis.  These posts are temporary and reviewed on an annual basis in line with the needs of the pupils.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs in the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within an educational setting.
  • Has experience of working with pupils with complex SEN/D.
