1 Part Time Rough Sleepers Outreach Worker post

Temporary initially for 12 months (dependant on continuing funding)

 

We are looking to appoint a Rough Sleeper Outreach worker.  The Post holder will be expected to identify, engage and assess people sleeping rough.

 

The role will involve identifying and addressing barriers to accommodation.

 

Liaise and maintain positive relationships with housing providers and key partners to work together to meet needs of rough sleepers.

 

To engage rough sleepers, maintain regular street presence and initiating contact with those sleeping rough.

 

Assess new clients face to face in a community setting in order to establish personal needs and circumstance that will form the basis of a support plan.

 

The hours of work are 18.5 per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.  A flexitime scheme is in operation.

 

The salary for this post is £12,156 to £13,499 per annum.

 

This post is a temporary fixed term contract, initially for 12 months, subject to continued external funding.
