The Governors wish to appoint a temporary Midday Supervisor to work as part of our team and to be responsible for the safety, welfare and good conduct of our pupils during the lunch period.  Previous experience in a similar role is not essential and suitable candidates will be expected to have a caring, patient and friendly but firm manner.

 

It would be desirable that you have some knowledge or experience of providing opportunities for our children to participate in organised games during the lunch period.

 

This post is temporary till the 31st March 2019 subject to a review of the staffing structure and school budget.

 

The hours of work are 11:30am to 12:55pm Monday to Friday (7 hours, 6 minutes per week), term time only; to be worked in accordance with service requirements. The salary for this post will be £2,689 per annum.

 

Employees of Summerseat Methodist Primary School have a responsibility for, and must be committed to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and for ensuring that they are protected from harm.

 

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
