Team Managers – Two Posts in the areas of:

 

Post 1: Team Manager (Safeguarding)

Post 2: Team Manager (Initial Response Team)

 

We are looking to recruit to two Team Managers to manage the work of these operational Social Work teams.

 

The hours of work are 37 per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.

 

The salary is £41,675 to £42,683 plus an additional market supplement payment of £2,768 per annum (subject to review).

 

You will need to be confident to manage a team. You need to be an excellent communicator, have a real can-do approach, demonstrate sound professional knowledge and judgement which in turn will be used to support and guide others, particularly with regard to current legislation and practise.

 

As someone who embraces change, you will positively support the team of Social Workers and work well with change and service redesign and developments. You will also play a key role in maintaining and developing links with the partner local authorities ensuring robust pathways and communication channels are in place.

 

The post holder will be experienced in managing conflicting priorities and demands; you will need to understand the functionality of the electronic record system and associated management of case work, offering relevant advice and support to your team and colleagues by sharing your knowledge, skills and experience.

 

We will support your professional development with formal and informal supervision and provide opportunities to learn and develop skills on the job whilst working closely with the wider Operational Management Team.
