The Governors are seeking to appoint a PA to Executive Headteacher a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong administrative and communication skills along with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.  The core purpose of the role will be to support the Executive Headteacher and the Head of School. The role will also entail providing support across the school. The salary for this post will be £16,139 - £17,986 per annum (subject to pay and grading review).

 

Elms Bank is an outstanding secondary special school for pupils aged 11-19. We are intending to form a Multi-Academy Trust in the near future and if this goes ahead the post will then report to the CEO of the new MAT.

 

Your hours of work are 37 per week term time plus 10 days.

We are looking for a colleague who: 

  • Has excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Has high levels of motivation and initiative to make things happen
  • Educated to degree level
  • Has excellent organisational skills and experience of working to deadlines
  • Has the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of using relevant ICT packages and excellent word processing skills
  • Is proactive and has an excellent ability to plan ahead as this is essential to work sensitively and understand complex structures and relationships
  • Is able to delegate and prioritise the workload of senior managers to ensure efficiency for the organisation
  • Is able to be responsible for project work under the direction of a senior manager
