Required for an immediate start.

 

We wish to appoint Teaching Assistants (Level 3) Pupil Support to join a team of caring, committed professionals.  Hours of work are likely to be between 15hrs and 32.5hrs per week, term time only, to meet the learning needs of children in our Early Years/KS1/KS2. These posts are dependent on the number of support hours highlighted within EHC plans.  The role includes working with the child on a 1 to 1 basis, and within the class setting to support learning engagement and pastoral needs.

 

The salary for 15 hours will be £6,776 to £7,334 per annum

The salary for 32.5 hours will be £14,681 to £15,892 per annum

 

These posts are temporary whilst the child remains at the school and their special needs funding remaining in place.

 

You must possess Diploma in Childcare and Education; NVQ 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD); NVQ3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning; Foundation Degree in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.  Experience of supporting pupils with SLCN and a willingness to contribute to personal care needs would be preferred.
