Salary   Grade 4, SCP 28 - 31 (£24,964 – £27,668)
Hours   To be negotiated: Between 15 – 18.30 hours (Wed pm; Thurs; Fri or   Thurs; Fri)  Permanent.
 

At Six Town Housing we are committed to building sustainable communities. We are currently looking for an effective and enthusiastic Tenancy Sustainment Advisor to provide a comprehensive tenancy support service to prospective and existing tenants who may have difficulties in sustaining their tenancies.

Your main responsibilities will be to provide advice, assistance and appropriate support to help customers;
investigate any vulnerability issues, undertake pre tenancy assessments, provide welfare benefits and debt advice, undertake trial benefit assessments and liaise with other agencies as required. You will be required to case manage and work in partnership to safeguard vulnerable adults and children, victims of crime and domestic abuse. You will also provide a comprehensive furnished tenancy service to customers; liaise with the prison service in relation to tenants in custody and support the residents of the Fernhill Gypsy and Travellers site.

If you are customer focused and have experience of providing housing services to a wide range of people with varied needs, we would love to hear from you. To succeed, you’ll need in depth knowledge and experience of housing management issues including estate management, anti social behaviour, arrears recovery and furnished tenancies. A sound understanding of the needs of vulnerable people are also essential. You will also need excellent communication skills and experience of building effective relationships and partnerships.

Contractual Car Allowance is payable.
