Pastoral Support Worker

Required For 6th January 2020

The staff and governors of our successful, friendly and happy school invite applicants to the post of Pastoral Worker to play a key part in the exciting future of our growing school.

The post is temporary to 31st August 2020 subject to a review of the school budget.

Hours of work are 35 per week.

We have been graded as a GOOD school by Ofsted (January 2016) and would like applicants to share in our vision to raise standards and outcomes for all our children.

We are looking for a vibrant and outstanding person who is:

·          Able to provide support and guidance to vulnerable children and families

·          Able to remove barriers to learning in order to promote whole child development

·          Able to work in partnership with families and outside agencies

·          Able to focus upon the personal, social, behavioural and emotional needs of the whole child

·          Experienced in Safeguarding processes

·          Experienced in supporting children with BESMH needs

·          We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants with a desire to support the pastoral development of a school.

·          Able to support children in and out of the classroom to support learning and nurture support to promote positive behaviour for learning and raise self esteem.
