We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Science Teacher to join our successful Science Department.

 

The Derby High School is the highest performing school in Bury, Greater Manchester and has sustained this position for a number of years. We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our successful Science Department. We fully recognise the importance of Science in the curriculum and are passionate about delivering a high quality and engaging educational experience for all our students. We are an over-subscribed 11-16 Co-Educational School situated in the heart of Bury, Greater Manchester. Year on year our students make exceptional progress and we are currently the highest performing school in Bury for Progress 8 (2019 Progress 8 was +0.30). Alongside this student progress in all Science subjects is positive and above the national average. The salary for this post will be £25,714 to £41,604 per annum.
