Performance and Intelligence Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join the new Strategic Performance and Intelligence Team within the Corporate Core. In this role you will lead the performance function within the team through a joint corporate and place lens. The first priority in this role being the delivery of the performance management framework for the recently published Bury "Let’s Do It" Strategy and associated corporate plans for the organisation. This will include seeking views of stakeholders, developing reporting processes and constructing and then submitting timely reports using the most appropriate systems and tools.

 

The successful candidate will have an analytical mind, experience of business intelligence across the remit of local government, skills in Microsoft packages and data extraction and visualisation and also excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to support both internal and external customers with analysis around performance.

 

You will deliver with the team operational, management and executive dashboards which will support the delivery and shaping of our services, these will be developed in collaboration with the Neighbourhood Intelligence Team to support the further role out of the neighbourhood model within Bury.

 

Excellent analysis, IT, communication, influencing and relationship building skills are essential. You will bring experience of turning data into insight to support the organisation to improve outcomes for residents of Bury.

 

The hours are 37 per week, the salary is Grade 15 £42,821 - £43,857 per annum.
