We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Catering Manager to support the Catering Manager in a busy high school kitchen. With high standards, you will be hands on, providing and delivering the school meals catering service at Philips High School, Higher Lane, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 7PH.
A City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or equivalent qualification in Food Preparation and Cooking and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are essential for this post.
You must have experience in large scale Catering and demonstrate experience at a supervisory level achieving targets. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate sound knowledge of Health and Safety and food safety systems. You will be provided with a uniform, training and the opportunity to gain a NVQ level 3 qualifications in catering.
Hours of work are 27 hours 30 minutes per week, between 9.00am and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 2 mandatory training days, worked in accordance with service requirements.
The
actual salary for this post is Grade 6 SCP6 - £12,690 per annum.
