Performance Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join the Performance and Intelligence Team as a Performance Officer (Public Health Analyst) within the Strategic Development Unit. In this role you will lead on data management, analysis and performance reporting across a range of health and wellbeing agendas including Public Health, Adult Social Care and Environmental Health. There will be a particular focus on supporting the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) for Bury.

You will support the teams within the Communities and Wellbeing department by providing analysis and performance management and developing a range of health and wellbeing intelligence products, tools and services.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of health and wellbeing data and statistics, skills in Microsoft packages such as Excel and Access and also excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience in computer programming (especially statistical programmes such as R) and visual analytics such as Tableau would be an advantage.

You’re analytical and communication skills will help us to develop improved health and wellbeing outcomes for residents of Bury. Excellent IT, communication, influencing and relationship building skills are essential.

The post is offered as part time 18.5 hours a week (of a 37 hour working week) to be worked flexibly to support service requirements.

Salary will be on a Grade 10 pro-rata. For this part time post this means the salary starts at £13,952.
