Casual Catering Assistants – Bury Aces

 

Bury Aces are looking to recruit a number of Casual Catering Assistants to work as part of a team offering a friendly and highly efficient catering service to the children in the primary and high schools within the Authority.

 

The role of a Casual Catering Assistant is to cover sickness and other vacancies within Bury. Therefore you would be contacted on a daily basis to be informed which school you will be working in. The ability to travel around the borough would be an advantage. It is not a necessity to have your own transport as the transport links in Bury are very good with buses and trams operating on regular timetables.

 

The hours of work are family friendly, term time only and fit in with school children. Hours of work are normally between the hours of 11am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday term time only on a casual basis subject to service requirements.

 

The rate of pay is Grade 1 -2 SCP 1 £9.25ph plus 1.11 annual leave payment

 

We welcome applications from men who are currently under represented in this area of work. You will be provided with a uniform and training at the start of employment.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, References and completion of a medical clearance.
