We wish to appoint an excellent teacher with the energy, organisational and inter- personal skills necessary to ensure that children with additional educational and social care needs reach their potential whilst delivering classroom practice of the highest standards.
The salary is Teachers’ Main Pay Scale £23,720 - £39,406 plus a TLR 2A payment of £2,721 per annum.
You will work within an enthusiastic and friendly team dedicated to combining traditional primary values with strong expectations for all, “Happiness and High Standards”.
The post will require a class teaching responsibility which will be in KS2. School needs are not finalised for September 2019 at this point but you will be expected to have the necessary skills to teach in any of the year groups between Y3 and Y5 and this may well be in mixed aged class. Experience across the full primary range will be desirable.
You will join the wider management team and support the SENCO through co-ordinating the case work for KS2 children with SEND. The role will also entail becoming Designated Teacher for Looked After Children (LAC) and supporting the Headteacher and Family Support Advisor with safeguarding work.
